Design from passion. Driving positive change.

I am currently Design Director at Returnr & BeetBox, and work freelance under the brand MMTH. I was a co-founder of zero-waste grocery delivery business Returnr Marketplace, and was a former Associate Principal at Cobalt Design, and a few years ago I pulled together a group of mates to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis.

As Returnr & BeetBox’s founding Design Director, I have been a key driver of the team aiming to eliminate single-use-packaging waste with engaging products and revolutionary systems. Our team employs design to drive behaviour change. Ultimately achieving positive social impacts and strategic business outcomes.

My professional design journey started at a small company designing & manufacturing hospital beds. Then as the first Associate Principal at Cobalt Design,I instigated the development of a design thinking practice within the business, designed a world first scientific instrument, worked on detailed DFM of the first Melbourne designed & manufactured tram, and lead the design of the innovative Food Justice Truck that fed asylum seekers with a 75% subsidy & won the highest Victorian design award in 2015.

A graduate of Monash University in Industrial Design & Mechanical Engineering, and a graduate of Melbourne Business School’s MBA program, I am a member of the Design Institute of Australia & Engineers Australia.

I live in Melbourne, Australia with my wife and three children. When I’m not developing products or at my kids sport, you’ll find me cycling along Beach Road in Melbourne.
